2025 Scholarship Application

The HHSABC is proud to award scholarships to deserving senior student-athletes.  The scholarships are awarded to those who best exemplify effort, dedication, commitment, and spirit, regardless of their position on a team; they do not need to be the star of the team, or even a starter.  It recognizes the student-athlete who can be counted on to give his or her best effort at practice and in the classroom, pitch in to help with team needs, and encourage teammates and classmates to excel.

The Scholarship Committee will consider all applications, with an emphasis on your role as a student-athlete. The following requirements must also be met to be considered for a scholarship:

1. The student must have completed a minimum of one season of a Virginia High School League (VHSL) sport at Heritage High School at the varsity level as athlete or manager or athletic trainer.
2. The athlete’s parent/guardian must be a member of the Athletic Booster Club by February of your athlete’s Junior year.
3. The applicant must be a graduating member of the senior class of Heritage HS.
4. The student must have a GPA of at least 2.7 (this is a B-).
5. The student plans to attend a college, university, or trade school following graduation.

The deadline for completing this scholarship application, including the required two letters of recommendation, is by 4:00PM, Thursday April 10, 2025 to Mrs. Fekel in the Career Center. Scholarship winners will be announced at the Senior Awards assembly on June 6, 2025.
